Susan Boyle, who emerged from obscurity to become an international singing sensation, is recovering after finding a male intruder in her Scotland home.
Boyle had returned to her Scotland flat after recording a song for the "Hope for Haiti" charity album. A startled Boyle found an unknown male in the home, according to The Sun, a British newspaper. The man, equally spooked to see Boyle, ran right past her and fled the home instantly.
Boyle is part of an all-star cast of singers who are working on a charity song, produced by American Idol's Simon Cowell.
Boyle starred in the TV show, "Britain's Got Talent." She didn't win but became world famous for her operatic voice. Her debut album sold more copies than any other female artist debut in history.
