It appears the bridge between Conan O'Brien and NBC isn't completely burned.
Just days after an epic war of words between the former Tonight Show host Conan O'Brien and his former employers, the network has picked up a pilot created by O'Brien's production company, Conaco.
Written by John Eisendrath, the untitled project, known as "Justice," will feature a former Supreme Court justice who retires from the bench to start his own law firm, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
This isn't the first Conaco pilot to be picked up by the network. In 2008, NBC affiliate USA Network signed on for "Operating Instructions," about a female trauma surgeon transferring to a military hospital from Iraq who is frequently vexed by the healthcare bureaucracy and finds herself entangled in an unexpected romantic encounter, according to BroadcastingCable.com.
In 2007, the network gave the ill-fated "Andy Barker P.I." a go, starring former O'Brien sidekick Andy Richter. The show was canceled after six episodes.
