In a freakish occurrence, a tornado reportedly touched down in Southern California today, part of a powerful storm that lifted boats out of the water, flipped cars and caused flooding.
The punishing storm landed ashore Tuesday afternoon, moving from Los Angeles to San Diego. The National Weather Service says the damage is most likely the result of a tornado.
The Los Angeles Fire Department says at least 16 people have been displaced because of flooding in the San Pedro harbor area, Fox News reports.
