If Mike Huckabee's presidential run had been as successful as his namesake show on Fox News, he might be our nation's current commander in chief. According to the Web site Race 4 2012, Huckabee last weekend single-handedly dwarfed the ratings of major outlets such as CNN and MSNBC. No doubt this has many people pondering Huckabee's prospects for 2012. After all, a recent poll found that 70 percent of Iowa Republicans favor Huckabee for president, well surpassing Sarah Palin (60 percent) and Mitt Romney (58 percent). A national poll produced similar results. But there's just one problem: the former Arkansas governor is feeling pretty good about his current job -- so good, in fact, that another presidential bid suddenly doesn't seem as enticing. "The reason I wouldn't is this Fox gig I've got right now Chris is really, really wonderful," he told Fox newscaster Chris Wallace in late November. "It's easy to say, 'don't you just want to jump back in the pool?' But jumping in the pool you gotta make sure there's some water in it." He added: "The last time out my biggest challenge was with the establishment Republicans, who just never showed their support."
