Worried Mr Beck, yesterday I sent an email that I hope you have read by now, Including the Poem, I watch you on FOX everyday. I know you care deeply for Country like many of us. Our Country is in serious trouble, Thank you for standing up for us WE NEED YOUR VOICE. Please go to "thepeoplesvoice.org, it is about Ahimsha Wickrematunge, a Sri Lankan Journalist, writing for The SUNDAY LEADER, was murdered for speaking out about the corruption in the government in his country. He wrote a letter to be released after his death. He knew he would killed, still he stood up for his beliefs and Country. He quoted this poem, " AND THEN THEY CAME FOR ME." I used to occasionally watch Beck when I would flip through the channels...that is until he I caught one his shows where he just sounded riciculously STUPID! How dare he say President Obama is racsist. What? That doesn't even sound right! How could he have a "problem" with white people when number one, he's half white, and number two, two WHITE people raised him to be the person he is?! He saw it was not just about the Jews Hitler sought to exterminate it was any one that had an alternate point of view. He was jailed in Sachsenhausen and Dachau concentration camps from 1937 to 1945, were he wrote this poem. AND THEN THEY CAME FOR ME First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist. After reading most of the vitriol a-la-Glenn from many of the commentators in support of Beck, it is comp93's comment that sums it up and makes the most sense. In capitalism, the corporations will do what is best for them. If supporting hate speech masquerading as free speech made them more money, they would be fighting elbow to elbow for a spot in Beck's show. They are not.

This is for Momof4-- Yes Obama will meet republicans in the middle, if that middle is in toal agreement with him. He hasn't tried to "reach across the isle" yet. And how many times did he promise that?- among ALL the other promises that he hasn't kept? I am not in total disagreement with your president. I did agree with him once, it was when he killed that fly. I'd have done the same thing. And I too am an AT&T customer. I'm thinking about dropping them though. You may think they don't deserve it but I don't think Beck deserved to be dropped. But, it's their loss cause he'll still get high ratings and they won't have an ad in there!

I have an idea. We, the ordinary citizens, don't need those ads that air during your show but those advertisers need us to survive. I could do without them. I wonder how many others could. Freedom of Speech doesn't mean we are entitled to a successful radio or TV program. As an AT&T customer, I'm happy to hear they pulled their ads. I'm a former Republican and most of my friends and family are still Republicans. I sense they are embarassed by Beck and Limbaugh. I have listened occasionally to get the other side of the argument, but I find the O'Reilly Factor a more reasonable glimpse of the right's positions. BTW, I read Audacity of Hope and Pres. Obama is really a pragmatist. He will meet Republicans in the middle if they will come.

Obama has 2 black ambassadors & an Attorney General, Bush had blacks in charge of the State Dept., NSC, Education & Housing and Urban Development. Bush also had 3 high ranking hispanic cabinet members, so much for a racist. His father was also one of 2 presidents to nominate a black for the lifetime position of supreme court justice. Hmmmm. First, Glenn Beck has the entitlement to his opinion with regards to the President much in the same manner everyone else has with the previous President, what is the difference here? None. Second, the topic of President Obama making comments regarding the professor and the officer, much like much of what Obama has done so far, clearly outlines a man with no experience and should never had commented or made his opinion because he is the President. As the President, he should clearly operate on facts, we have learned that from our previous President that relied too much on such approach. If there is anything he could possibly learn is never repeat history, learn from it. Lastly, this leadership is so screwed up I fail to see how much more worse this can possibly get.

Regardless of what political party you support or what race you are, it is still our right to voice opinion. What Glenn said was his opinion and I thought that was his right as an American. I am also pretty sure he can give a reason as to why he feels this way. I am a firm believer in Jesus, and a devout Christian. Obama has openly mocked the bible and I don't recall that being made into a huge deal like this. That should be a much bigger issue. That being said..in my opinion, anything said against Christians or White people seems to get overlooked a lot. I know for a fact if Obama or Oprah said the same about Glenn Beck, it wouldn't be such a stink. Maybe we should focus on more important issues...like bringing this country back to where it should be.

I guess the fact that this is untrue hasn't stopped them from posting this. Clorox, Johnson & Johnson, Proctor & Gamble, Progressive Insurance and others have said they did not pull their advertising from Beck's show because of what he said, the problem was that as a matter of company policy they do not advertise on political or opinion programs. Color of Change made this up to try and act like they had power over him, they have the right to boycott the advertisers but they did not cause them to pull their ads. The other problems are they caused ratings to go up for Beck and the advertisers never pulled the ads from Fox so it never hurt anyone there.

Glenn Beck has the freedom to say what he wants about Obama, or George Bush or any politican he chooses. This is what makes America great. I say ask questions about why Obama and the people he is around support ex-black panthers and leftist groups like acorn and moveon.org these group are absolutely racist. Check them out, you will agree. Glen speaks his mind and you have to admit Obama certainly rushed to judgement when he said that the police in Boston "ACTED STUPIDLY". I emailed the advertisers stating my objection to trying to control free speech. If they advertise on the networks and not Fox/Beck over "any comment" I consider the actions Un-American and won't buy from them. It's not the comment that bothers me; it’s the PC attitude of these companies. I am going to make an effort to watch fox and list the brands that advertise on it. I will buy from them. Let these pansy companies we-we in the lost of the bosses quarterly bonus and see what that does to his annual bonus. Marketing is about reach and frequency. You need 85% distribution to justify advertising. If they think they can do without half of the population I wish them well. NOT!

As the saying goes. " Follow the money" Pressure was put the advertisers by the organization "Color of Change.org". Who started this organization was none other than Mr. Van Jones, who happens to be the Green Czar in Obama's Czar cabinet. Glenn has been very vocal and critical of Van Jones because of his communist ties. This is not as much about Obama as it is Van Jones and his determination to rid Glenn Beck's freedom of thought and speech. I'm a proud Democrat threfore the only time I really watched your show was after the Obama election just to get a kick outta of the staunch Republican remarks. GLENN BECK; IS A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOURNALIST AND NEWS ANCHOR REPORTER. Iin this country there is freedom of speech, what a person says or thinks is a due process of the american system. all the top commentators are saying the same thing every day. SO THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING IN CONTEXT OR THEY WOULDNIT SAY IT. GLENN BECK SHOULD BE PRAISED AND NOT CHASTSIED. HE IS THE BEST REPORTER AND IS VERY HONEST AND I BELIEVE WOULD NOT HURT ANYBODY. Glenn Beck is not mentally stable or normal. Having been an addict for a long time, he exhibits signs that he still has major issues with self control, only with anger, not drugs. I used to watch him, but quickly saw how mean and vindictive he is. I can't believe anyone would continue to watch him. Regardless of one's feelings about the President, attacking him personally just makes one look unintelligent. I am sad that his show is on the air.

I'm a HUGE Glenn Back fan because he's the only one with cajones to call it like he sees it. I will continue to watch Glenn wherever he may be broadcast. If the advertisers choose to cow-tow to the liberals and leftists, I guess I won't be hearing their jingles and ads. And you know what they say -- "out of sight, out of mind." Oh my! I'll just "forget" to buy their products -- as I'm sure many GB fans will, as well.

I would have a problem with Glenns commit if it weren't true. I believe Obama has a belief that there is a class of elite black that are better than all others. The belief makes him a racist not only to white but to "lower level" blacks, white, and all other races.

This is a great country when even an idiot like Glenn Beck can get his own show. Of course the only stationthat will hire him is Fox - the Republican propaganda network, so he can hang with all of the other losers. I actually feel sorry for the guy when I listen to him stutter and slur his words between drinks.
