In an effort to reach out to Hispanics, Walden University, a distance-learning institution headquartered in Minneapolis, is launching an online bachelor's-of-science degree in business administration, to be taught in Spanish.

The school, ranked No. 4 in U.S. News & World Report's list of largest online graduate management programs, is also offering a scholarship that could reduce tuition fees by as much as 15 percent. College officials say this would save students up to $6,750 over the life of the program.

Students also would have the option to learn English while enrolled in the program.

Walden is ranked No. 12 on Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education magazine's list of the top 25 colleges and universities with the largest Hispanic graduate student enrollment

Established in 1970, Walden University currently enrolls about 33,000 students from all 50 states and 90 countries. It is the flagship online university in the Laureate International Universities -- a global network of 45 online and campus-based universities in 20 countries.
