A furious Perez Hilton posted a video to his blog this morning to describe his version of a Sunday night confrontation with the frontman of the Black Eyed Peas that left Hilton with a black eye.
Hilton said that after a verbal spat between him and Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am, the rock star and his manager followed him outside, and the manager -- Polo Molina --clocked him "two or three times" in the right eye.
"Will.i.am f*** you, because you *** lied," a red-faced Hilton says on the video, in a full-throated holler. "You know very well, I know very well, and God knows, it was not a random fan that hit me."
Hilton and the rap group were in Toronto Sunday night for the Much Music Awards show.
In his tirade, Hilton was referring to the version of events given by Will.i.am on his own video, posted earlier.
In it, Will.i.am said the confrontation started when Hilton "disrespected" his bandmate Fergie at the Ultra Supper Club by saying he didn't like the band's new album, "The E.N.D."
"I don't even know what gives the guy the authority to be so rude like that, but that's beside the point," Will.i.am says in the video.
Later, Will.i.am said, he and Hilton wound up at the same after-party, and another verbal spat ensued. Will.i.am complained that Hilton, who is gay, called him gay. (Hilton proudly admits this in his own video.)
Will.i.am said nearby fans heard this, and "[got] all crazy," placing the blame for Hilton's injuries on his aggrieved admirers.
The current language on Hilton's site, let alone the antics, does cast some doubt as to whether the "Queen of All Media" will be able to tone down his site's content in a bid for more advertising dollars, something that is reportedly part of his long-term plans.
