The on-camera death Neda Soltani, a 26-year-old Iranian political activist, has sparked a worldwide Internet frenzy. "Neda," is being regarded as an Iranian martyr after she was reportedly shot down by Iranian military police during protests in Tehran. Her bloody murder has been broadcast on Facebook and YouTube and she has become the face of the uprising against the Iranian government and thousands of people who are protesting the results of the presidential election. Her face has been plastered on the front pages of newspapers and across the Web. Footage shows her being shot, falling to the ground and then slowly dying in a chaotic scene. It's after viewing insane acts like the killing of Neda that make me so thankful that I live in America. I hope the protestors can change the corrupt and vile leaders in their country. I hope it doesn't come to that here in the U.S. God Bless you Neda. I hope the killer rots in hell.
