Former WWE Killer Bee B. Brian Blair jumped from the squared circle to a successful world in politics.
But after this weekend's alleged altercation, Blair, who in 2004 was elected the Hillsborough County Commission in Florida, may be preparing for a return to wrestling action.
Blair, who gained famed as one-half of the Killer Bees tag team (along with Jumpin' Jim Brunzell" in the 1980s WWF), was arrested for allegedly assaulting his two sons on Father's Day.
Blair, a conservative Republican, allegedly punched and put his 17-year-old son Brett in a choke hold, in an altercation in the wee hours of the morning Sunday. Blair then allegedly punched his you 13-year-old son Bradley in the head.
In a video statement to a Florida TV station, Blair called the situation "unfortunate."
"It's a misunderstanding that could have been prevented. I have over 7,000 hours mentoring children and the last thing I'd ever do is hurt a kid. Sometimes the hardest kids to mentor are you own. I guess that's all I'll say for now,"
Blair faces two felony count charges of child abuse.
