Forget a press conference or a notice to the public -- when the Obama administration needs to announce something critical it uses MySpace, and Twitter?
True to his new-age politics with an old school feel, President Obama is keeping the American people up to date on the H1N1 virus--more commonly known as the swine flu--via virtual and instant communication true to his motto of abandoning "stale politics." Other forums of Internet communication include the White House blog and on Flickr.com.
Could the real reason they're calling it H1N1 instead of swine flu have to do with keeping those Twitter messages to 140 characters?
