CNN is reporting that at least seven people are dead and between 12 and 15 have been wounded at Fort Hood, in Texas, in a shooting incident, citing a "senior Pentagon official" as its source.

According to NBC reports, one shooter was in custody, while another was still at large. The report also notes that a third shooter may be involved.

Fort Hood, the Army and U.S.'s largest military base, is near Killeen, Texas, halfway between Austin and Waco.
