The crash of a tour bus for singer Miley Cyrus on the slick roads of Virginia Friday morning has left the driver dead, but 16-year-old Cyrus was aboard another bus in the caravan.
The driver appears to be the only fatality in the crash, but there were nine reported injuries -- most of them minor -- and at least one person has been transported to the hospital, according to TMZ.
The bus, which carried 14 members of the production crew, drifted off the road for a ways before flipping around 8:15 a.m., according to a witness.
The tour is scheduled to continue Sunday in Greensboro, North Carolina. In addition to being a singer/songwriter, Cyrus is the star of the Disney TV series Hannah Montana and daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.
