ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Nov. 17 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ -- Next month, UnitedHealthcare will offer two free Medicare education seminars aimed at helping Hispanic-American seniors understand the basics of Medicare. The Medicare education seminars will provide information on how Medicare works, who is eligible for Medicare, and the differences between Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D.

"Seniors will receive health care information in a simple, clear manner, and they can also actively participate in the seminar so they feel confident in their health care decisions," said Susan Morisato, president, Ovations Insurance Solutions - UnitedHealthcare's Medicare Supplement business.

UnitedHealthcare will offer these seminars in Spanish so participants feel comfortable and engaged when learning about their health care options. There are approximately 27,000 Hispanic-American seniors living in Bernalillo and Sandoval Counties who are eligible for Medicare.
