Ken Ober, one of MTV's iconic faces during the network's rise in the 1980s, has died. He was 52.
Ober hosted "Remote Control," an afternoon game where contestants sat in colorful, oversized chairs, and clicked their large remote controls to answer questions.
The show, which doubled as bizarre variety show, featured early appearances of Adam Sandler, Denis Leary and Colin Quinn, according to the Associated Press.
Ober died Sunday, after complaining of a headache and flu-like symptons.
