Jon & Kate Plus 8 Star Jon Gosselin Sues TLC for $5 Million

Nov. 13, 2009

By Joshua Molina, HispanicBusiness.com

Jon Gosselin the troubled former star of Jon & Kate Plus 8 is reportedly suing cable network TLC for $5 million, alleging that the station has damaged his reputation and prevented him for working.

Gosselin has been in a very public fight with his wife, Kate Gosselin. The two were one-time stars of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 television show, built around the ups-and-downs of raising eight young children. The two became smash reality show hits, before their marriage crumbled, amid allegations of infidelity.

Jon Gosselin has been tabloid fodder since the breakup, and he and his new girlfriend have become magazine celebrities.

In his suit, Gosselin alleges that the network convinced other media outlets from doing business with him, and therefore hurting his ability to find work. Gosselin in the suit also alleges that he is too famous to work because of the enormous media attention focused on him.

The media is only attracted to him because he put his self out there to the media. If he would step out of the spotlight and let other people have their 15 seconds of fame....they would forget about him.

Jon is not a bad person either he is just really really lost and needs to start thinking and acting like a grown man. He is no longer in his collage years. Kate, well I hope she learns how to live in the moment and be happy with herself and life. She is a blessed woman she has 8 kids and she doesn't have to worry about living paycheck to paycheck. She is attractive and once she learns what true happiness is she will have everything she wants. I hope they both learn from the difficult experience and use those lessons to go forward in life better people. We all make mistakes with no exceptions. Best of luck
