Bernie Madoff Holds His Own in Prison Scuffle

Oct. 13, 2009

Perhaps Bernie Madoff squandered some of those stolen millions with gym memberships or self-defense classes.

When the notorious Ponzi schemer Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison in July, some people worried that the 71-year-old would encounter violence.

Those fears have proven legitimate-- but it was Madoff who came out the victor, The New York Post reports.

Madoff, the former chairman of the NASDAQ stock exchange, reportedly got into a heated debate with another senior-citizen inmate about the stock market and things got out of hand. The man pushed Madoff, and Madoff responded with a two-handed shove that caused the man to stumble.

Madoff reportedly then hovered over the man as he attempted to stand up, and gave the man a glare so severe he skulked away.

The next day, the two men made up and were spotted hanging out together, the Post reports.

So he intimidated another senior citizen ... BIG DEAL !!! I'd like to see him try the same with one of the many investors that lost their life savings in the biggest Ponzy scheme in the world ever.
