Perhaps Bernie Madoff squandered some of those stolen millions with gym memberships or self-defense classes.
When the notorious Ponzi schemer Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison in July, some people worried that the 71-year-old would encounter violence.
Those fears have proven legitimate-- but it was Madoff who came out the victor, The New York Post reports.
Madoff, the former chairman of the NASDAQ stock exchange, reportedly got into a heated debate with another senior-citizen inmate about the stock market and things got out of hand. The man pushed Madoff, and Madoff responded with a two-handed shove that caused the man to stumble.
Madoff reportedly then hovered over the man as he attempted to stand up, and gave the man a glare so severe he skulked away.
The next day, the two men made up and were spotted hanging out together, the Post reports.
