LOS ANGELES, July 11 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ -- The Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF) presents its second annual family celebration ¡Vive tu vida! Get Up! Get Moving!(TM) promoting Latino family physical activity for better health and wellness for people of all ages. The free family event runs from 10 AM to 2 PM at Belvedere Park in East Los Angeles (4914 E. Cesar Chavez Blvd).

This exciting event draws thousands and features free health screenings. Fun family activities include tennis clinics, golf, kids activities, dance performances, live music, raffles, healthy food samples, environmentally friendly bags, and free water bottles.
At 11:00 a.m. Congresswoman Hilda L. Solis, Chair, U.S. Congressional Hispanic Caucus Task Force on Health and the Environment, and Nancy Montañez Johner, Undersecretary for Food, Nutrition and Consumer Services, U.S. Department of Agriculture, will participate in the main stage ceremony.
