Why wait to read about the latest dirt from "Hollywood's most hated Web site"? Fans of PerezHilton.com can access the celebrity gossip site anytime, anywhere, now that the popular Web site has gone mobile. In a video posted on his site, entitled "Very Very Exciting News! Big, Big, Big!!!!" Perez Hilton announced the launch of his mobile site, m.perezhilton.com.
"It's about time!" said Perez Hilton, the self-proclaimed "Queen of All Media." "My readers have been asking often and loudly for a mobile version of PerezHilton.com, and I'm thrilled to finally be launching this new version."
Hosted by Crisp Wireless, the new site allows mobile users to view the original Web site's salacious posts and trademark graffiti-filled photos, then share them with friends via text message and email.
The Miami native of Cuban heritage, Perez Hilton, born Mario Lavanderia, launched the Web site in 2005, posting from his "office" in the Hollywood Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on Sunset Blvd. Google Analytics determined the popular and often addictive site averages 250 million impressions and 12 million unique readers per month.
Thanks to the success of PerezHilton.com, Perez was named the #1 Web celebrity by Forbes in 2007, and in May of this year began hosting his own nationally syndicated radio show that plays in 7 of the top 10 markets in North America.
