Hispanic Business magazine released the list of its 15 finalists for its annual EOY Award and Gala. The finalists will be honored at the Historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles on November 9.
Attended by luminaries from the worlds of government, business, and academia, Hispanic Business magazine's EOY awards event is dedicated to celebrating the successes of U.S. Hispanic entrepreneurs in five major categories: Heavy Industry, Infobusiness, Latina, Rising Star, and Trade Industry.
Faculty from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business judged the finalists and have named one winner for each of the five categories, as well as one overall EOY. The winners will be announced at the awards gala.

The annual gala dinner has featured inspirational keynote addresses by such high-profile speakers as Fabián Núñez, speaker of the California State Assembly, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, and former Energy and Transportation Secretary Federico Peña. This year, Dionicio Morales, founder of the Mexican American Opportunities Foundation (MAOF), will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his work to empower Mexican Americans throughout California.
