Fifteen and Counting

November 2005, HISPANIC BUSINESS Magazine
al gonzales

When Hispanic Business surveyed the 100 Most Influential Hispanics® about the Bush Administration's performance, the appointment of Hispanics to office was the only point receiving majority support, with 59.5 percent approval. According to Hispanic Business research, the administration currently has 15 secretary-level appointees (including two department secretaries) in office.

The list below also includes four heads of independent agencies of the Executive Branch as well as ambassadors. Not included are Hispanic directors of offices within Executive Branch departments, judges, and members of commissions or boards.

For more information about the 100 Influentials' opinions, see "Achievement, Prestige, Power," in our October 2005 issue, or access it online.
