WASHINGTON, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The Raben Group, LLC announced today that it will expand its services to include Hispanic-related policy development and strategy. It recently added to its staff in order to develop LATINStrategies, a division within The Raben Group that will focus on Hispanic-related services for the corporate, non-profit and government client. The Raben Group hired former Chief of Staff to Congresswoman Hilda Solis, Laura Rodriguez, and attorney and media relations specialist, Estuardo V. Rodriguez, Jr.

"As the Hispanic community continues to grow, so do the needs. The public and private sector must understand the distinctions of and issues most relevant to the Hispanic community in order to develop the most effective policies," said former U.S. Assistant Attorney General and Founder of The Raben Group, Robert Raben. "Similarly, Hispanic owned businesses and organizations need to understand our political system in order to best pursue their business or legislative needs. The experience our team brings allows us to provide the best in policy development and political strategy."

The Raben Group has a solid reputation and history of success. Among its most recent clients are NBC/Telemundo, the Center for Reproductive Rights, Family Violence Prevention Fund, Immigration Equality, Pfizer / NAACP, Recording Industry Association of America, Sony Music Entertainment, and the American Civil Liberties Union.

Over 15 years of professional experience as an attorney, senior Hill staffer and Assistant Attorney General have given Mr. Raben a nuanced understanding of both the legal subtleties and the political realities of the issues he handles. In addition, he brings an aggressively bipartisan approach to the firm, built during a highly respected legislative career that began on Representative Barney Frank's staff and concluded with House Judiciary Committee Chairman Henry Hyde's endorsement of his Justice Department appointment, and his unanimous confirmation by the Senate.

Laura Rodriguez has over 10 years of Capitol Hill experience working with Representatives Ronald Coleman, Loretta Sanchez, and Hilda L. Solis. Having worked in leadership positions for several Members of Congress, she brings not only practical knowledge about the processes of the federal government; but also a deep understanding of the importance of creativity, strategic communications, and coalition building in accomplishing policy objectives.

Estuardo V. Rodriguez, Jr., a former attorney with the Department of Housing & Urban Development and media relations specialist, will serve as Counsel on Media and Communications. He brings years of media outreach experience and message development for clients in public policy, health and entertainment with an emphasis on Hispanic markets.
