"El Cucuy De La Tarde" Announces Talent Line-up for "VA POR GUADALAJARA!" a 3-Day Radio-thon and Live Broadcast - June 6th, 7th and 8th in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES--(HISPANIC PR WIRE - BUSINESS WIRE)--June 2, 2003--Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation (NYSE:HSP) and Renan Almendarez Coello, "El Cucuy de la Tarde," KSCA 101.9 FM's top rated radio personality and founder of the El Cucuy Foundation, are proud to announce his upcoming 60-hour Radio-thon,"VA POR GUADALAJARA!," benefiting "Ninos de la Calle," the street children of Guadalajara. Renan will host the three-day event to be held on June 6th, 7th and 8th, next to the Grand Olympic Auditorium at the corner of Grand Ave.and Washington Blvd. in downtown Los Angeles. Donations will be used to build a village for 300 children in Guadalajara that will provide shelter and education, as well as towards a refuge for 300 abused women with children.
The Radio-thon event will be a three-day LIVE broadcast to include free concert entertainment for the family each day from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m., while "El Cucuy" broadcasts live on location to raise funds for the homeless children of Guadalajara.
"VA POR GUADALAJARA!" promises to be a star-studded celebrity event with surprise guests joining Renan to help support this charitable cause. An outstanding mix of top Latin entertainers will perform LIVE on all three days. The artists confirmed to attend "VA POR GUADALAJARA!" are:
