The Acquisition Reform Network Web site (www.arnet.gov) contains a complete list of procurement regulations, as well as links to procurement forecasts at federal agencies. The ARNet site also includes data on government contracting and subcontracting. Among the updates: Small-business subcontracts accounted for $30.6 billion in fiscal year 2000, compared with subcontracts of $46.4 billion to large companies (see table). That means 39.7 percent of all subcontracting dollars go to small firms.
