In addition, there is a focus on wellness products and on helping with health issues for women in the menopause stage of their life. WHB also offers baby gift items to increase traffic, create higher-ticket sales and expose more women to the other services we offer exclusively for them.
Investment: Suggested start-up cash required: $65,000. Total investment $217,714-$254,714. Franchisor provides interest free loan on $15,800 of the franchise fee, no amortization. Repayment based on 1% up to $25,000 per month, then 2% on all sales over $25,000 per month. Incentives offered to forgive portions of principal.
Royalty: 4% to 7% royalties based on collected sales. No advertising fees.
Training: Two weeks of classroom training, one week training in a boutique. Includes fitter certifications, operations, marketing, business planning and management, on-site training, pre-opening assistance and ongoing industry, marketing and operational support. Pre-Opening: Market analysis, assistance with site research (2-day visit to market to review with owner is included), review of business lease with recommendations made, space planning layout, assistance evaluating contractors to do the buildout, assistance with securing financing using a loan packager and introduction to lenders that we have a relationship with, 2-day visit to set up the boutique, assistance recruiting, qualifying, hiring an outside marketing rep and other staff in the boutique. Provide prospective customer list for a fee (in digital format and hard copy) of area physicians by specialty, health care agencies, managed care organizations, support groups and associations, etc.
Opening: 2 to 3 day visit to assist with Grand Opening. WHBFSI will fax and mail a Press Release to area media sources announcing the awarding of the owner's franchise, the actual opening of the boutique and the Grand Opening.
Provide a teleappointment program to set appointments for outside marketing rep for a fee, provide turnkey monthly direct mailing program if the owner desires, provide a detailed 12 month marketing plan which includes a sales blitz of referral sources surrounding the boutique, training of staff regarding procedures, working out any challenges, 3 day visit to store to manage Sales Blitz, $200 a month reimbursement to have a CPA prepare financial statements for six months. For first six months of operation, WHBFSI will provide turnkey insurance and Medicare electronic filing service at no cost to the owner.
Ongoing: WHBFSI offers a turnkey monthly newsletter that can be mailed to the owner's mailing list of customers and prospects. We can provide camera ready 1/4-page ads advertising the various product lines, after being open 6 weeks and another after being open 4 months.
Workshops and seminars on our 117-acre campus going on monthly. Toll free support line, interactive website and access to a vendor database. Review and analysis of financial statements, annual conference with trade show, new products research and development, monthly Action Call from our support staff and much more. Compliance updates and advice.
Location: Mid-visibility retail, good signage required, plenty of parking. Well maintained "local" shopping center with easy in/out access. Able to identify with some local landmark for directional and identification purposes.
